WELCOME BACK!
PLEASE READ THE GUIDELINES
Happy New Year!!!
We are all so thankful that 2020 is in the rear-view mirror, and we look forward to a better 2021! With that in mind, however, much of our precautions and restrictions are still in place for the time being. I encourage you to review the policies and procedures that follow. These policies are what allows me to keep my doors open and permit me to continue to serve you as best I can.
I continue to be ever so grateful for your kindness and gentle patience as we progress through this time of Covid-19. With the best of my skills and abilities, I aim to make your massage therapy treatments as relaxing and as enjoyable as you have grown accustomed. However, there is some significant changes that I must bring to your attention for the safety of yourself, myself and all others who enter our clinic space. To help you understand our current environment, I'll present our changes as best I can:
Substantial changes to my schedule:
- appointment times have been changed to designated 1 hour treatment times with a full 30 minutes between for sanitation. The 1 hour treatment is by far the most popular, so it made the most sense to build the schedule around it.
- to accommodate as many client schedules as best we can, 1/2 hour treatments will be phased out by 2021.
- 3/4 hour treatments can be booked in a 1 hour treatment space.
- 90 minute treatments have limited availability. Please contact me directly so I can assist these bookings.
- Feel free to use the online booking system at your convenience. If you are unsure of the new format or find it confusing, please don't hesitate to contact me directly for assistance. I would gladly try to help.
Business guidelines for Massage Therapy:
- Personal Protective Equipment and self-monitoring is in effect. Update: As of November 6 2020, Masks are Required in all public spaces. This includes at all times during your massage. This is a Public Health Order and is in effect for at least 28 days.
- Paperwork! Be prepared to answer the combined Covid-19 Health Questionnaire and a Covid-19 Waiver each time. These forms can be filled out at the beginning of your treatment or to save from taking time away from your treatment, they will emailed to the address we have on file for you to fill out and submit back to us prior to treatment.
- So much Paperwork! In addition to the Covid-19 specific forms, the email will also contain an electronic Health History form, a General Consent to Treatment form, and a Special Areas Consent to treatment. We kindly ask you fill these forms out prior to your first treatment back. We are moving to a paperless system and it is time to update our forms to keep current with our standards of practice. These forms are not required each and every time like the Covid-19 forms but they will all come together in an email directly following the treatment reminder email.
- Attend appointments alone. If the appointment is for a minor, one adult should/may attend but please be prepared to sit in the treatment room as our waiting room is closed.
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment and come into the clinic only at the time of your appointment. In inclement weather, please wait in your vehicle until the time of your appointment, we have minimal space for people to wait.
- If you would like to text message me upon your arrival please do so at 306-280-3153. Remember to include your name! I will respond when I am ready for you and can open the door.
- We ask you to use a hand washing station or hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the clinic.
- We may ask you to have your temperature taken with a touch-less thermometer prior to treatment.
- If you are sick, even with minor symptoms, or placed on self-isolation, or live with someone who is on self-isolation, you must reschedule. We can rebook your appointment once you have a confirmed Negative Covid-19 test result.
- If, within the last 14 days, you have traveled outside the province you may need to reschedule. Please call me to discuss.
- If within the last 14 days, you have been in a gathering with any people outside your immediate household, or where social distancing measures where not maintained, you must reschedule.
Massage therapy will not be performed if the above criteria can not be met.
Direct Billing, and Electronic payments via my square terminal will continue as before. E-transfers to info@leannedickiechesterrmt.com are also welcome. As much as possible, we would like to reduce the use of cash transactions at this time, but of course, it would not be refused.
Receipts will be emailed, unless a paper copy is required.
If requested, water will be provided in disposable cups, please do not ask to refill your personal water bottles from our water cooler.
I know that sounds like an awful lot, but I'm sure if we all work together, we will soon get used to these changes and it will no longer seem so overwhelming. If you are unsure, or need help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask. I am here to help!
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate through our changes! Thank you for the trust you have placed in me regarding your massage therapy needs!
I truly look forward to seeing you!
Much love to you all,
-Leanne
